Plan details
Open a plan from the timeline or map to review its details, reveal the trip map, export it to your calendar, or edit supported plan types.
Tap a plan in the Plans timeline, tap one of its pins on the trip map, or open a linked plan in chat. Its details slide up without taking you away from the trip.
Every crew member can open plan details. Editing controls only appear when the plan type supports them and you have edit permission. member
Show it on the trip map
When a plan has usable coordinates, Show on map appears above the details. Tap it to close the details and lower the Plans workspace so the trip map is visible. In 2.3.0 this reveals the existing map and pin; it does not move the camera to a new close-up automatically.
Some standard plan sheets also show a map pin in their action row. That opens the plan's location view.
Other action buttons
Controls vary by plan type, but a standard details sheet can include:
- Back chevron: closes the details.
- Add date: appears beside the date area on an undated activity or food plan, accommodation, note, tour, or transport. Pick the date and time, then tap the checkmark. The plan moves from Anytime to the matching day; the update can be queued while you are offline. Read-only crew do not see this control. organizer
- Calendar: adds a dated plan to your phone's calendar. The first time, your phone asks for calendar access. A plan with no date cannot be exported; one with no end time is added as a one-hour event.
- Pencil: opens the edit form when that plan type supports it and you have edit access. organizer
What the sheet shows
Depending on the plan, you may see:
- A place photo or a coloured type icon, plus a Google rating when available. Ideas added through Need inspiration? keep the same Google photo and rating shown in the suggestion list.
- The address and the plan's timing. When both a start and end are saved, the overview shows both dates and both times as a clear range; a single-time plan stays compact.
- A phone number you can tap to call and a website you can open.
- Notes, booking status, and an envelope chip when the plan came from a forwarded email.
- An optional partner offer on eligible experiences and stays when that provider is available. Matching activity, tour, or experience plans can open Viator; accommodation plans can compare Stay22 rates. Offers are labelled Partner and include a commission disclosure. Matching Viator proposals can also show the offer on their voting card.
