Terms of Use

Wicked Funnels (ABN 18 616 868 350) (“we”, “our”, or “us”) offers the Limbo travel planning app and the website at getlimbo.app (together, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to create an account. You are responsible for your account and for everything that happens under it. Keep your password private, give us accurate information, and let us know promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Use the Services only for lawful purposes. Do not attempt to break, probe, or overload our systems, access other users’ data without permission, or use the Services to send spam or store unlawful content. Only forward emails to addthis@getlimbo.app that you have the right to share.

You own the content you add to Limbo: trips, plans, photos, notes, and forwarded emails. You grant us the limited licence we need to host, process, and display that content in order to provide the Services, including sharing it with the crew members you invite and processing forwarded emails into draft plans. We claim no other rights over your content.

If you submit a public guide, you confirm that you have the right to publish its text, images, and links. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, moderate, display, and let users copy the guide into private Limbo trips. We may remove guides or suspend creators for safety, legal, quality, or policy reasons. Guide availability and creator approval are not guaranteed.

• Limbo is free to download, and its core trip-planning and collaboration features are free for owners and crew. Trip Passes are no longer sold or required for confirmation. Limbo may show clearly labelled sponsored or affiliate content.
• Optional annual Limbo Pro removes display advertising. New monthly subscriptions are not offered; an existing monthly or promotional ad-free period remains effective only until its recorded expiry. Prices are shown before purchase, and the annual subscription renews automatically until cancelled through your app-store account.

Sponsored cards and partner booking links are identified in the Services. We may receive a fee or commission if you interact with or purchase through them. Advertisers and travel providers are responsible for their products, prices, availability, bookings, cancellations, and refunds. Paid placement does not determine ballot outcomes or the organic order of your crew’s trip content. User-requested partner booking utilities may remain available to Pro members because they are not display ads; their commission disclosure remains visible.

Limbo brings together information from third-party services: Google Maps Platform for every interactive map in Limbo 2.4.01 and Google Places for location search, place matching, and current place details; Mapbox for basemap display in older app versions while the 2.4.01 update rolls out; the Wikimedia Foundation's Wikipedia service for optional place summaries; AirLabs for flight data; and Unsplash for imagery. We work to keep this information timely and accurate, but we do not control these sources, and flight times, gate assignments, venue details, and similar information can change without notice. Always confirm critical details with your airline, hotel, or venue before you rely on them. Limbo is a planning tool, not a booking agent: we are not a party to any booking you make with an airline, hotel, or other provider.

Limbo includes Google Maps features and content and keeps the supplied Google Maps branding and data-provider attribution visible. Your use of those features and content is subject to the then-current Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

The Limbo app, website, name, logo, and design are owned by Wicked Funnels and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use them except as needed to use the Services.

The Services are provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services or from third-party information presented in them.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded by agreement.

You can stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Services. Where reasonable, we will give you notice and a chance to export your data.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be at getlimbo.app/terms. If a change is material, we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
