After you create a trip, Discover your trip starts finding places for your destination. You can close the cards while they load and return through Find your crew’s next yes on the trip overview.

Add a destination first if your trip still says No destination. People with permission to edit the trip can make selections; everyone shares the same deck and allowance.

Swipe or tap

  • Left / Skip: move past a place without creating a plan.
  • Right / Add: add the place as a proposal for your crew to vote on. Your own Yes vote is included. These proposals use sealed voting, so choices and tallies stay hidden until the ballot reveals.

Your crew shares one deck. While you are online, another member’s selections and skips update your open cards. If two people choose the same place together, it creates one proposal with the proposer’s Yes vote; other members can vote from Voting. If one person adds while another skips, the first saved choice wins and both decks move on.

Your selections are saved. Closing and reopening the deck continues where your crew left off. If a save fails, the card stays in place so you can retry.

Drag a card to preview your choice, then swipe it away or give it a quick flick. A short, slow drag returns the card without saving a choice. You can always use the Skip and Add buttons instead.

Added places appear in Plans and Voting, even when voting is off by default for manually added plans. They start without a scheduled date; open the plan to choose when to go.

The AI trip assistant reviews confirmed itinerary plans. It cannot assess proposals still awaiting a sealed vote. Those picks remain saved in Plans and Voting. Smart Route also needs confirmed, dated stops with map locations.

Suggestions that follow your interests

Your first suggestions follow the brief, crew, pace, interests, and optional budget you chose during smart trip setup. A family trip with children gets suitable family ideas from the start; a culture trip gets museums and local sights. Leave interests open for a varied mix of popular places.

Each place can have several tags, such as Family, Theme parks, Outdoors, or Museums. Once your crew has added ten places, Limbo uses those selections to find more ideas with similar interests, while keeping some variety. Skipping most of the first batch does not stop you from exploring the rest of your allowance.

Suggestions for every trip

Every trip gets five suggestions per trip day, with a minimum of 25. Both the first and last dates count: a seven-day trip gets 35 suggestions. An undated trip gets 25. Everyone shares the same allowance regardless of subscription history.

Discovery starts with up to 15 suggestions and finds more in batches as you make choices. Skipped suggestions count, and reopening the deck does not reset the allowance. You can always add your own plans. Existing choices and proposals remain saved.

Connection and place details

Discover places needs internet access to generate suggestions and save choices. If you lose your connection, reconnect before swiping again. Saved choices return when you reopen the deck. If you see Couldn’t confirm that choice, reconnect and tap Refresh, or retry the same choice. A repeated choice does not create a second proposal. An interrupted choice that never reached the server stays available to select again; offline swipes are not queued.

After reopening while disconnected, the deck asks you to reconnect. Your saved proposals remain in Plans, and the cards resume from the crew’s saved choices once the connection returns.

Suggestions use AI-written descriptions and interest tags with places matched through Google. When generating a batch, Limbo leaves out venues Google marks temporarily or permanently closed. Check the venue’s current opening times, suitability, and booking requirements before visiting. Photos appear where available; a place icon appears otherwise.

Cards also show Google’s place categories, address, and rating where available. Scroll the card and tap Place details for opening hours, a phone number, and a link to the venue’s website. These details are also available when you open an added proposal. Google details refresh when opened online; some venues do not provide every field.
