Your Travel recap, map, and travel friends
Read the numbers on your Travel recap, see every place you have visited on the Travel map, and find the crew you have travelled with.
Your Travel recap is the running record of where you have been: the trips you finished, the days you spent away, the places on a map, and the people you went with. It sits at the top of your Account screen, above your name, email, and the rest of your settings.
Everything here is your own account, so every crew member has one. member Nobody else sees your recap unless you share it.
Opening your recap

- 1On the Home screen, tap your avatar in the top-right corner.
- 2The Account screen opens with the Travel recap card at the top.
The card carries your photo and your name. Tapping the photo opens your photo library so you can change your avatar, the same picture your crew sees on trips, ballots, and in chat.
What counts toward your recap
Only completed trips count: trips whose end date has already passed, and that you are on either as the owner or as a crew member who accepted the invite. A trip you are still planning adds nothing until its end date goes by.
- Deleting a trip takes it out of your recap.
- Archiving a trip does not. An archived trip that has already ended still counts.
- The recap is worked out again each time you open the Account screen.
The five numbers
The row under your name scrolls sideways and holds five stats.
| Stat | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Trips | Completed trips you were on |
| Days | Total days away across those trips |
| Countries | Distinct countries Limbo recognises from those destinations |
| Cities | Distinct cities from those destinations |
| Flights | Flight plans on those trips that have already departed |
Days counts each calendar day once, so two trips that overlap, or run back to back, are never double counted. The first and last day of a trip both count, and a trip needs a start date as well as an end date before it adds any days.
Flights and the Travel map only look at plans that made it into the trip's Plans timeline. An open proposal or a rejected one is not counted.
Your level

Below the stats is your level, your total travel days, and how far it is to the next level. The green bar fills as you close the gap. Levels come from the Days number alone:
| Level | Travel days |
|---|---|
| Daydreamer | 0 |
| Weekender | 8 |
| Pathfinder | 21 |
| Jetsetter | 50 |
| Voyager | 100 |
| World Wanderer | 200 |
Once you reach the last one, the line on the right tells you that you have reached the top level instead of counting down.
Next trip
If you have no trip coming up, the card ends with a Next trip row and a Start planning link that takes you into creating a trip. As soon as you have a trip that has not ended yet, the row steps out of the way.
Share your recap

Share in the card header hands a link to your recap to your phone's share sheet, so you can send it in a message or a group chat. Creating that link needs an internet connection. If Limbo cannot reach the server it says it could not share your recap and asks you to reconnect and try again.
Travel map
Below the card, Travel map plots every place from your completed trips on one map, with a count of the pins beside the heading. The preview on the Account screen is a still picture. Tap Open full map for the map you can pan, zoom, and rotate.
On the full map the pins are numbered in order. Tap one to see the place name at the bottom of the screen, then tap the close button to dismiss it. The round button in the top-right corner refits the map around all your pins after you have moved around.
A place shows up once its plan has a saved location with map coordinates and its date has passed. Until then the section reads "Your map is ready for its first pin".
Travel friends
Travel friends is the crew you have actually travelled with. The section shows a few of their photos and a count. Tap it for the full list, where each person shows how many trips you have shared. The people you have travelled with most sit at the top.
The list stays empty until you finish a trip together. Crew who have not accepted their invite, and crew added to a trip without a Limbo account of their own, do not appear.
Tip
Your recap is saved on your phone. Offline, Limbo shows the last version it fetched and notes that you are looking at your saved recap. If it has never loaded, the card tells you it will appear after your next online refresh. See Working offline for the wider offline story.
