Note
This article records a feature from Limbo 2.4.00. The standalone itinerary planner and Need inspiration flow are retired in 2.5.00.
Start with the trip, not a form. Tap Plan a trip on the new welcome screen or Try the free trip planner from login, then describe the rough idea in your own words.
Prefer to sign in first? The planner's opening screen now includes a small Skip trip planning · Go to login link at the bottom.
Limbo asks only for missing details, drafts a mapped day-by-day itinerary, and lets you request changes in plain language. If your description has no date, the next step now lets you choose one from a calendar. A date you already supplied—such as “five days in Barcelona from 17 August”—is used automatically.
Each destination now gets a richer stay flow: choose from about five suggested areas or type your own, then pick from accommodation cards using their place names and addresses. Longer descriptions can be expanded, and finishing the last question starts the itinerary automatically—there is no extra Generate step.
Multi-city trips now share place and map enrichment across every destination, including trips with up to four cities. Preflight is clearer too: the clock action that could temporarily hide a checklist item has been removed.
When the plan feels right, email yourself a snapshot or sign in to create it in Limbo. Already signed in? The result shows one Create trip button and adds the trip directly to your account—no email or claim step. On Home, the + button now offers the same Create for me route alongside Build it myself.
Signed-in planner starts no longer share the guest allowance for the same internet connection. Guests can start up to ten new planner drafts per connection each day.
On iPhone, you can also add the new small or medium Limbo Decisions widget to your Home Screen. It keeps the number of ballots waiting for your vote visible without opening the app.
Every core online trip feature is free for organizers and invited crew. This article predates Limbo 2.5.00: annual Limbo Pro removes sponsored cards and adds Smart Route, Maps handoff, cached and downloaded offline access, and attachments. New monthly plans are no longer offered. Existing subscribers can restore their remaining access from the same screen on iOS or Android.
