Create your account and log in

Sign up with email, Apple, or Google — plus password resets, logging out, and where to delete your account.

Verified for Limbo 1.9.3 · 2026-06-13

You need a free Limbo account to plan trips, join a crew, and vote on ballots. You can sign up with an email and password, or skip the form with Apple or Google. All of this applies to your own account only — no trip role required.

Tip

Your name and the avatar you add later are what your crew sees on trip cards, in chat, and on ballot reveals — use a name your friends will recognize.

Sign in with Apple or Google

  1. 1
On the login screen, tap Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google.
  2. 2
Follow the system prompts to confirm with your Apple or Google account.
  3. 3
You're signed in — first-time sign-ins create your Limbo account automatically.

Use the same method every time so you land in the same account.

If you're signed out, enter your email and password on the login screen and tap Login — or use the Apple or Google button if that's how you signed up.

Forgot your password?

Already logged in and just want a new password? Go to your avatar in the top-right of Home → Account, then tap Change Password — it walks you through the same reset flow.

On the Home screen, tap your avatar in the top-right corner to open Settings.
  2. 2
    Scroll down and tap Logout.

Logging out is instant — there's no confirmation prompt. It signs you out on this device and clears locally stored data, but nothing is deleted from your account: your trips, plans, and votes are all there when you sign back in.

Delete your account

Deleting is different from logging out — it permanently removes your account and can't be undone. You'll find it under your avatar → AccountDelete Account, behind a confirmation prompt, and you're logged out immediately afterward. A full guide to what happens to your trips and data is coming soon.
