The Health Kit

Generate an AI health-prep checklist for your destination — vaccinations, medications, and CDC/WHO guidance — and add it to the trip.

The Health Kit is an AI-generated health-preparation checklist tailored to your trip: vaccinations, medications, documents, and timing based on CDC and WHO travel guidance for your destination. It lands as a normal trip checklist the whole crew can work through.

Before you start, the trip needs three things:

  • a destination (the Health Kit card doesn't appear without one),
  • a start date (you'll get an alert without one — timing advice like "8 weeks before" depends on it),
  • an internet connection — generation happens live and doesn't work offline.

Each trip can hold one Health Kit; once it's added, the card disappears from the create sheet. Creating it goes through the add-checklist flow, so you need edit access on the trip. organizer

Generate it

  1. 1
Open the trip's Checklist tab and tap + Add a checklist.
  2. 2
Switch to the From Template tab.
  3. 3
Tap the Health Kit Checklist card at the top of the list.
  4. 4
    Tap Generate Health Kit.
  5. 5
Wait while Limbo researches guidance for your destination — usually 10–20 seconds.

Note

If generation runs long, Limbo automatically retries after a few seconds and usually picks up the finished result. If you generate too many kits in a short window, you'll get a rate-limit message telling you how long to wait.

Review the preview

Nothing is added to your trip until you approve it. The preview shows:

  • A medical disclaimer — this is informational only; see a healthcare provider 4–8 weeks before travel for personal advice.
  • Quick links to CDC Travel and WHO Advice for your destination.
  • Items grouped by priority — Required, Recommended, and Optional — each with a timing chip like "8 weeks before" where it matters.

Happy with it? Tap Add to Trip and it becomes a regular checklist on the Checklist tab. Not convinced? Just dismiss the preview — nothing is saved.

After it's added

The Health Kit behaves like any other checklist: the whole crew can check items off, add their own, and remove ones that don't apply — see Trip checklists. Deleting it works like deleting any checklist, and frees the trip to generate a fresh one (useful if the destination changes).

Heads up

The Health Kit is a planning aid, not medical advice. Requirements change and personal health varies — always confirm vaccinations and medications with a travel clinic or doctor well before departure.
