Checklist templates

Build reusable checklists once in Settings, then drop them into any trip in two taps.

If you pack the same things every trip, stop retyping the list. Checklist templates are reusable checklists that belong to your account — build "International Travel" once, and apply it to every trip that needs it.

Templates are personal: any member can create and manage their own, and they're available across all your trips. member Applying a template to a trip creates a checklist there, so that step needs edit access on the trip, like any other checklist. organizer

Create a template

    Open Settings (your avatar on the Home screen) and tap Checklist Templates.

    Tap the + button to open the create sheet.
  3. 3
    Enter a template name (required) and an optional description.
  4. 4
    Add items one by one — up to 100 per template.

    Save. The template appears in your list.

Edit or delete a template

Tap any template to open the editor. From there you can:

  • Rename it or change the description.
  • Add new items, remove items, and reorder them with the up/down arrows.
  • Tap Delete Template to remove it — Limbo asks you to confirm first.

Note

Editing or deleting a template doesn't touch checklists you've already created from it — a trip checklist is a copy, not a link.

Apply a template to a trip

    Open the trip's Checklist tab and tap + Add a checklist.

    Switch to the From Template tab.
  3. 3
    Pick your template — its item count shows on the card.
  4. 4
    Optionally give this copy a custom name (otherwise it uses the template's name).

    Tap Use Template. The checklist appears with all the template's items, unchecked and ready.

Tip

Template management works offline too — create or edit templates in airplane mode and they sync when you're back online.

Permissions

  • Create, edit, and delete your templates: any member, in Settings. member
  • Apply a template to a trip: organizers and crew with edit permission on that trip. organizer
