This page explains how to request deletion of your account and data in Limbo: Travel Planner, the app published by Wicked Funnels (ABN 18 616 868 350). You can delete everything in a few taps inside the app, or email us and we will do it for you.

Delete your account in the app

The fastest way to delete your account and all associated data is from within Limbo:

  • Open Limbo and go to the Profile tab.
  • Tap Settings, then Account.
  • Tap Delete account.
  • Confirm when prompted. Your account and data are permanently removed — this can’t be undone.

Request deletion by email

Can’t access the app? Email support@getlimbo.app from the email address on your Limbo account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify it’s you and delete your account within 30 days, then confirm once it’s done.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

  • Account information — your name, email address, hashed password, and avatar photo.
  • Trip content you own — the trips, plans, bookings, checklists, budgets, votes, notes, and photos in trips you created.
  • Forwarded booking emails and any pending plans created from them.
  • Device and usage data tied to your account, such as push notification tokens.

What we keep, and for how long

  • Trips owned by other people.If you were a companion on someone else’s trip, that trip belongs to its organiser and isn’t deleted. Your profile is removed from it, but contributions such as messages or plans you added may remain so the trip stays intact for the others. Ask the organiser to remove anything specific.
  • Backups. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on our normal backup cycle, within 90 days of deletion.
  • Records we’re legally required to keep. We may retain a limited amount of information where the law requires it (for example, to meet tax or fraud-prevention obligations). It is kept only as long as required and then deleted.

Your account data is removed from our active systems within 30 days of your request.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You don’t have to delete your whole account to remove data. In the app you can delete individual trips, plans, bookings, checklists, photos, and other content at any time. To have specific data removed for you, email support@getlimbo.app and tell us what you’d like deleted.
