Troupe alternative
Troupe is gone. The group vote lives on.
Troupe was the app that let your crew vote on the trip. As of 2026 it's delisted from the App Store and its website is offline. Limbo picks up the same idea and finishes it: every plan is a proposal, the crew votes, ballots stay sealed until the deadline, and the reveal settles it. Friends without the app vote from a browser link.
30 seconds in the browser. No app, no account.
Troupe vs Limbo, feature by feature
Troupe deserved credit for putting the group decision first. Here is how the two compare on the things that matter for a crew actually committing to a trip.
| Feature | Troupe | Limbo |
|---|---|---|
| Group voting on trip decisions | Yes (open polls) | Yes, sealed until the deadline |
| Votes hidden to prevent bandwagoning | No | Yes |
| Deadline that auto-resolves the vote | No | Yes |
| Vote without installing the app | No | Yes, from a browser link |
| Cost splitting and settle-up | Limited | Yes |
| Works offline / in airplane mode | No | Yes |
| Still available in 2026 | No, delisted; site offline | Yes, iOS and Android |
Troupe column reflects the app as it shipped before delisting; verified status as of July 2026.
What happened to Troupe?
Troupe launched in 2022 under JetBlue Travel Products with a genuinely good idea: let the group vote on dates, destinations, and stays instead of assuming one person plans everything. As of mid-2026 the app is no longer on the US App Store and troupe.com no longer resolves. We wrote up the full picture, and what to do if your trips were in there, in Troupe shut down: what happened and where to move your group trip.
